The Hijjawi Foundation congratulates the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology on winning the Silver Medal at the International I-FEST² Festival.

The Hijjawi Foundation extends its warmest congratulations and best wishes to the students of the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology on winning the Silver Medal in Engineering at the International Festival of Engineering, Science and Technology (I-FEST²), held in Tunisia and organized by the Tunisian Association for the Future of Science and Technology (ATAST), with the participation of more than 500 participants from 62 countries worldwide.

This remarkable achievement was earned through an outstanding project presented by Ibrahim Al-Majli and Sara Al-Badr, members of the Robotics Team at the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology – Yarmouk University, titled:

“AI Powered Sumo Robot”, which reflects an advanced level of innovation in applying artificial intelligence technologies in engineering and robotics applications.

The Hijjawi Foundation expresses its pride and honor in this achievement, which reflects the excellence of the students of the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology and their ability to compete in international forums, emphasizing that this success embodies the spirit of creativity and innovation that characterizes the college’s students.

The Foundation also commends the academic and supervisory efforts led by the Dean of the faculty, Prof. Dr. Awad Al-Zaben, and the team supervisor, Dr. Shadi Al-Laboun, for their role in supporting students and providing an enabling environment that contributed to achieving this excellence and enhancing their practical and research skills.
