Eng. Hassan Abu Sarris Highlights TEDx Yarmouk University 2025 in Special Interview on Jordan TV

Amman – The "Youm Jadeed" (New Day) program on Jordan Television hosted Engineer Hassan Abu Sarris, Chair of the TEDx Yarmouk University 2025 conference, in a special interview where he shed light on the behind-the-scenes efforts that brought to life one of the most prominent youth-driven university events in Jordan this year.
Abu Sarris spoke about the inspiring journey of the student-led team that independently organized the event, emphasizing that TEDxYU was more than just a typical conference — it was a true platform to project the voice of Jordanian youth to the world, through powerful stories and real-life experiences that transported the audience from the heart of Yarmouk University to new horizons of creativity and innovation.
He noted that the conference hosted a distinguished lineup of speakers from diverse fields including technology, arts, media, literature, and people with disabilities. This diversity gave the event a unique human and inclusive dimension, setting a new benchmark for professional and volunteer-driven university initiatives.
Abu Sarris also expressed deep gratitude for the generous support provided by Yarmouk University and the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology, along with the event's partners and sponsors — most notably the Hijjawi Foundation, whose pivotal role helped ensure the success of the event. He affirmed that this achievement was the result of collective effort and a firm belief in the potential of Jordanian youth.
