Partnership Between Hijjawi Foundation and MadfooatCom to Train Students of Hijjawi Faculty of Engineering Technology at Yarmouk University

Amman – In a strategic step aimed at enhancing vocational education and developing the capabilities of future professionals, Eng. Ayman Hijjawi, Chairman of the Hijjawi Foundation, had a partnership with MadfooatCom. The partnership followed a meeting held at the company's headquarters in Amman with Eng. Nasser Saleh, CEO of MadfooatCom.

Also present at the meeting were The Dean of the Hijjawi Faculty of Engineering Technology at Yarmouk University; Prof. Mohammad Al-Zubaidi, Vice Dean and Supervisor of the Career Development Unit at the Faculty; Dr. Dania Bani Hani, and the Manager of Hijjawi Foundation Career Development Center; Eng. Khitam Al-Shannaq.

The partnership outlines a plan to coordinate advanced vocational and technological training programs for students of the faculty.

Eng. Ayman Hijjawi emphasized that this collaboration opens new horizons for students by providing them with high-quality hands-on experience aligned with market demands. It will engage them in real-world technological environments that foster creativity and industrial professionalism.

It is worth noting that MadfooatCom, the operator of the “eFAWATEERcom” platform under the supervision of the Central Bank of Jordan, offers a wide range of applications and services. The company shared its journey from its establishment in 2011 to becoming the official provider of the national electronic billing system, which now processes payments for hundreds of services and serves millions of users daily.

The meeting also highlighted that practical training will enable engineering students to gain experience in real-world environments, better preparing them to keep pace with the digital transformation in Jordan and the broader region.
