Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be international students with outstanding academic achievements at the graduate level, either entering Japan as new students or already residing there.
Candidates must be aged between 18 and 35 years at the time of application for Master’s and Doctorate programs.
A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.30/3.00 or higher is required, and students must maintain this GPA while receiving the scholarship.
Proficiency in English or Japanese is essential, often demonstrated through standardised test scores like TOEFL or JLPT.
Candidates must have the intention to study full-time at Hokkaido University.
